A Local History Education Project (Junior Tour Guide Program) is a program well supported by local schools and community that is organized annually in the summer for local youths to learn about the history of the Phra Chudhadhuj Ratchasthan Palace, an important historic site. The museum aims, in addition to creating the aforementioned awareness, to build a good relationship between the youths and the museum, and also the university.
The secondary purpose is to hire outstanding youths from the program as a part-time tour guides for museum visitors as part of conservation tourism promotion on Sichang island, to help them earn extra income.
